Central Asia Services Group will provide qualified Safety Training.

As per the requirements of the relevant Kazakhstani Legislation, and for easy reference, the training courses are broken to General Compulsory Program & Special Extra Program.

The number of Special Courses over and above Compulsory Course within one safety training package shall not be limited and is governed by Company immediate and long-term need in training as well as specific requirements for certain specialties of Company employees. At Company specific request, CASG can develop additional Special Courses.

COURSE OUTLINE:


GENERAL HEALTH & SAFETY ENTRY COURSE –

COMPULSORY PROGRAM

as per (RD-02-02-94)

Duration: 8 hours

A review of basic safety practices to improve the ability to work safely on the job. The program consists of six units: basic safety, personal protective equipment, back injury prevention, OH&S regulations, hazard identification and elimination, and hand tool safety. Additionally, other units may be added, or substituted to remain within the time frame. These are: Machine guarding; slips, trips, & falls; scaffolding appreciation; or contact us with your specific request for entry level training.

Safety Training for Jobsite Supervisors

Duration: 4 hours

Introduction to what causes incidents and what a supervisor can do to intervene before an incident occurs. Also discusses regulatory implications, responsibilities, leadership, and practical jobsite tools.


Confined Space Safety

Duration: 3 hours

Covers hazards in confined spaces, preparation for entry, working in a confined space, debriefing, etc.


R.P.E. (Respiratory Protective Equipment)

Duration: 3 hours

Duty of employers to supply, management training responsibilities to oversee compliance in the use of RPE, types of respirators and their uses, etc.


H2S Contingency Planning

Duration: 2 hours

H2S protection at drilling sites & production facilities, setting up detectors, SCBA location plans, detectors and settings, H2S protection and escape route planning, etc.


H2S Theory

Duration: 2 hours

Theory, physical properties and protection while working in an H2S environment for employees, SCBA and emergency life support apparatus (ELSA). Escape from sour gas environment and medical support.


Basic Fire Training

Duration: 3 hours

Fire theory, protection and escape, fire extinguisher use, hose handling, and containment.


Spill Control Planning

Duration: 6 hours

Plans written to suit operational needs, setting up ERC, personnel responsibility, understanding of the three (3) tier system during spill and pollution control.


Chemical Handling & COSHH

Duration: 6 hours

Identification of chemicals, handling and personal protective equipment, respiratory protection, control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH), and how to carry out assessments.


Hazard & Risk Assessments

Duration: 4 hours

Helps personnel to identify hazards in the workplace, to identify who is at risk, assess the severity of risk, looks at control measures, demonstrates how to take a proactive role, how to develop a hazard register, and use it when personnel and facilities are at risk during daily operations.


SCBA

Duration: 2 hours

Discusses the need for SCBA, types of equipment, correct use for safety of personnel, etc.


Fire Extinguishers

Duration: 2 hours

Fire theory, protection and escape, types of extinguishers and their correct use, safety when utilizing extinguishers, etc.


Office Safety

Duration: 2 hours

Overall safety in a building environment, safety assessments of the workplace, safety and security of personnel during an emergency, etc.


Accident Investigation

Duration: 4 hours

Gives the knowledge and a basic understanding of how to perform, or be part of a team, an accident/incident investigation; to find true causes and take corrective actions, or recommend corrective actions, to prevent recurrence, etc.
