The Management of Central Asia Services Group Ltd (CASG) would like to welcome back Richard Pike as our new Director of Medical Services, Kazakhstan. CASG Management had the pleasure of previously working with Rick as our Manager, Medical Services for several years before he made the career change to provide his services in the Middle East.

In Richard’s long career his enhanced leader-management skills were rewarded early. The roles of Command Senior Medical Chief, Canadian Navy, Regimental Sergeant Major of a Combat Medical Unit, and the Medical Branch Career Chief at National Defence Headquarters were all executed to the highest degree. In recognition of his Listen and Lead approach to getting the job done Richard was decorated by two successive Governor Generals of Canada for absolute loyalty to his men and his country.

Within weeks of leaving the military Richard took on twelve more years of distinct medical and cultural experiences, from The Sudan, to Asia, to the Middle East, and full circle to Nigeria. In the Middle East he was responsible for overall clinical care in six KBR clinics; care of the sick and injured and the provision of Emergency Medical Response to an inclusive population of four thousand international and western expatriates. Such activities were punctuated with countless night and day patient assessments with international physicians in an effort to prioritize patient need to be seen at a Combat Support Hospital for further diagnostics. An accomplishment of this magnitude could only be realized by building bridges between skilled US Paramedics and learned foreign doctors. The compelling common denominator was Richard’s upfront concern for the Health and Safety of those working with him and those under their care. It is this commitment he now brings to Central Asia Services Group (CASG).

Under the CASG Team, Contractors can be assured that workers will receive the utmost attention from competent medical staff. Our competent caregivers see prevention as paramount to the well being of remote site workers so we look beyond the more common ailments and address the importance of preventing the dangers of food borne illnesses. The CASG Team will guide catering staff in the hygienic preparation of foods in accordance with the international standards of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) programs. By offering all around care all the time Central Asia Services Group will live by the company's Listen and Lead policy.

Richard’s overall years of experience and his years previously spent in Kazakhstan will be a positive asset for CASG and our client base to ensure quality control of all CASG clinics and medical personnel, on-going training for national medical personnel, effective public relations and follow up with all clients and continue to grow CASG in all areas of Medical Services and HSE.
